Trolltech has now officially become part of Nokia.*
As part of Nokia, we will continue to deliver a world-leading cross-platform application framework, and we will expand the use of Qt as the foundation for advanced desktop and embedded software.
The Trolltech vision of “Qt Everywhere” will now be backed by Nokia resources and support to ensure that we can achieve this goal even more effectively. For Nokia, it will be essential to have Qt-based products at the leading edge of software development across desktops and devices, and for Qt to be actively used by hundreds of thousands of developers worldwide.
We in Nokia can assure you that the Qt and Qtopia roadmap will continue to be as competitive as ever. Industry-leading performance, improved distribution of Qt-based applications, and smooth, secure product lifecycle management will continue to be our focus.
