Речь не идет о написании чего-то своего... Берем стандартный пример из assistant'а. Добавляем к нему #include <qthread.h>.

class MyThread : public QThread {
...
При компиляции получаем:

В чем проблема?
Библиотека QT - входящая в дистрибутив ASP10, компилировалось под ASP10.
